Polaris 2 - Power Navigation Panel

How to use the Power Navigation Panel on the Polaris 2

Updated over a month ago

NOTE: Please refer to the Polaris 2 vehicle overview page, to determine which vehicle variation you have as the Power Navigation Panels will vary. You can find the vehicle manuals for each of our variations on this page.

In Polaris 2 vehicles using the REDARC control panel, the internal power function of the vehicle is managed by the navigation system with the main panel being located inside the vehicle by the side door entry.

This is where you can see how much power you have available in your battery storage which is used to power appliances such as the fridge, taps and television.

When pressing the on button, you will default to the home screen which will show you which appliances are turned on currently, and how much battery remains. Use the buttons on the left of the panel to turn the appliances on or off. Selecting them one by one to do so.

This image shows the panel in use, on the home screen with all appliances switched on.

It could also look like this depending on the vehicle generation you have. Not this shows water is on only as this is highlighted in green.

To cycle through the view of options on the screen, you can select the button highlighted "6" in the image below.

Trouble shooting:

If your power navigation panel is the model displayed in the image below and is displaying your appliances with a lock symbol on it, you won't be able to use them. This is called the Softkey lock. It's used when you want to power down the appliances (for example if you are leaving the vehicle) and want to keep the fridge on only. Meaning, you won't be able to turn on the tap or television.

To turn the Softkey off, you can press the power button twice and the lock will then be removed.

The below image shows what the home screen looks like when the Softkey lock is on.

When the Softkey lock is on, it could look like the image below depending on the vehicle generation.
